Lonnie Sparks

Our beloved brother, Lonnie Sparks, is home in the comfort of his Lord and Savior.

The funeral has been set for 10 am this Saturday (May 29) at Risen Lord, followed by the interment and then a luncheon that all are invited to at around noon. Please let those who may be interested know.

We look forward to celebrating Lonnie's new life with his family and church.

- Chickenfoot this Thursday at 11:30 am. Bring salad to share.

- Lenten Soup will be held in the Fellowship Hall, Friday at 7:00 pm

- Youth Gathering this Friday at 7:00 pm in Youth Room

- Passover Seder sign-up in Narthex, need count by this Friday, call office NOW if coming

- Palm Sunday is this Sunday!

* Tonight at 7 pm is Lent Soup with continuing DVD on 'Out of Nothing'--South door

* Sunday is Potluck Salad Sunday--bring a salad or desert to share.

* Sunday is also Adult Confirmation--please come and support them

* Pastor's classes from Thursday March 11 through Thursday March 18 are canceled as I will be at a conference in El Paso and then on vacation

* Saturday March 20 is Annual Spring Cleaning--Church has supplies, coffee, OJ, pastries

Lenten Soups & Luncheon's (Correction!)

Wednesday's through Lent, join the Odessa Ministerial Alliance Lenten Luncheon Series. From Feb 17 - Mar 31st each host church will have lunch from 11:15 a.m. till noon with service to follow 'till 12:45. The suggested donation for the lunch is $5 per person. Check the bulletins and newsletters for locations.

Fridays through Lent come join the 2010 Lenten Journey as we study how God creates the Word, Creation of Faith-Out of Nothing. Friday's in the Youth Room starting at 7:00 p.m. We will have soup and snacks and discuss the two seemingly different doctrines - Creation and Justification.
